First time parents Steph and Ben decided to have a homebirth after having their private 1:1 hypnobirthing classes with me.

They transferred to the St Thomas's homebirth midwifery team for their antenatal care, hired a birth pool and got everything ready to meet their baby boy in the comfort of their own home.

However, little Freddie kept first time mum Steph waiting for 12 days past his estimated "due date"!

With an induction looming, Steph's planned homebirth seemed to be about to go out of the window...
