The Yoga Space London is an incredible riverside venue where we are lucky enough to host our Group Hypnobirthing classes in Woolwich. This jaw-droppingly beautiful venue is a real haven for pregnant people looking to unwind, relax, and meet other local parents-to-be from Woolwich, Greenwich, Canary Wharf, and the surrounding areas.
Our Woolwich Arsenal antenatal course venue is ideally placed for pregnant mamas who are booked in for their antenatal care with Lewisham Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital or any of the central London Hospital maternity units, including freestanding Midwife-Led Units, Birth Centres or anyone under independent midwife care. The Yoga Space also regularly run gorgeous prenatal yoga classes and have a beautiful cafe where you can catch up with your new bump buddies!
The Yoga Space London is just a 6 minute walk from Woolwich Arsenal station which is on the Elizabeth Line, meaning it is easily accessible for expectant parents living and working in Canary Wharf or Central London.

The Yoga Space London is situated in Woolwich Arsenal, a modern residential area on the River Thames with excellent transport links to central London.
The studio also runs pregnancy yoga classes and is just a six minute walk from the Woolwich Arsenal station which has a fast direct underground link to Canary Wharf, Farringdon, Tottenham Court Road and Paddington via the Elizabeth Line. Woolwich Arsenal also has easy access via tunnel and ferry to East Ham on the other side of the river, as well as plenty of bus and mainline train links to Greenwich, Lewisham, Abbey Wood, Thamesmead, Plumstead, Charlton and Eltham.

How are we different to NCT classes in Woolwich?
NCT classes are a traditional form of antenatal education established in the 1950s and were the only antenatal class available for a long time. On NCT classes, you would learn about baby care (e.g. how to change a nappy) as well the different forms of pharmacological pain relief available for a medicalised hospital birth.
You may learn a breathing technique for labour on NCT classes in Woolwich, but you won't usually learn Hypnobirthing tools, other than perhaps a brief introduction.
