Hi, I’m Becca! I’m a mum to one gorgeous little boy, as well as four fur babies: one dog and three cats, because apparently I enjoy a challenge.
I'm from Farnham and recently moved to Chiddingfold, (between Godalming and Haslemere), and when I’m not working or chasing after a toddler and a small collection of animals, you’ll usually find me running, getting outdoors or travelling with my little family.
My own journey into Hypnobirthing came from a much more difficult place.
I found pregnancy mentally challenging and my son's birth physically difficult. It took me quite a while afterwards to properly process how I felt about the experience.
But it also lit a spark in me...
As friends around me became pregnant, I found myself wanting to learn everything I possibly could about pregnancy, birth and postnatal care. I wanted them to feel more prepared and supported than I had felt, and to know there were things they could do to approach birth with more confidence.
Then I discovered Hypnobirthing.
Learning about the physiology of birth, the relationship between the mind and body, and the evidence behind so many of the techniques felt like a switch had been flicked.
For me, Hypnobirthing isn't about pretending birth will always be straightforward or promising someone a particular kind of experience. It's about replacing some of the fear and uncertainty with knowledge, practical tools and confidence.

That's ultimately what inspired me to train as a Hypnobirthing teacher.
Now I want to help other expectant parents approach birth feeling informed, supported and positive about what lies ahead – and make sure birth partners feel prepared and useful too.
